In order to determine whether your lender is a qualified va loan lender, conduct the following methodolgy. First, ask your initial local lender whether they're qualified to do VA Loans. 2nd, if they are qualified, ask them what their best rate is. Next, conduct online searches on sites like this and others to determine whether you can get a better rate with a qualified va loan lender.

Simply by emailing or calling someone listed at one of these lending services, you can ascertain pretty quickly whether that lender is qualified or not- they'll tell you. It's that simple. These lenders will have already done 1000's of VA loan lending transactions and what it will come down to is whether their fees and service are the best available. Ask them how long they've been in business and how they will help you during and after the loan process. Let them do the legwork to work for you, since afterall they will be profiting from you if you choose to go with them. Right down your questions before you ask so that you'll be more prepared when the time comes.
